Singapore is a first-world country built by a large migrant workforce. Far from home and family, these construction workers spend their lives here isolated from society. Their contributions have always been unacknowledged and unappreciated. They are Singapore’s invisible people.
We set out to build a bridge between workers and Singaporeans. Together with Singapore Kindness Movement, we collected thousands of messages of thanks from Singaporeans. Then, using a fleet of custom-built drones, we delivered them together with Coke to places inaccessible to everyone but the workers — at construction sites, twenty stories up. The messages were delivered to more than 2000 migrant construction workers around Singapore, each one bringing with it a little happiness.
