Trigger Finger (stenosing tenosynovitis) is a condition where a person’s finger gets stuck in a bent position. Your finger may straighten with a snap — like a trigger being pulled and released. Today, the number of people from the “smartphone generation” suffering from this condition is rising sharply due to the constant use of electronic devices. As one would expect, the smartphone generation is more susceptible to the condition as they are on their devices for longer each day, with fingers on phones for almost 4 hours daily. So we launched an online campaign with KFC to help educate people on how to exercise their fingers with KFC FINGER YOGA. The exercises were codesigned by a yoga instructor and orthopedist. Step-by-step, educational video clips were produced and posted to websites and as online video clips. These simple but effective exercises can easily be practiced by anyone, anywhere, anytime, in order to reduce finger stress and fatigue. KFC FINGER YOGA helps fingers resume enjoyable and fulfilling activities. After all, life should always be finger lickin’ good.
